1. d4 d5 2. c4
I cannot count the number of games I've lost over-the-board with this opening. I don't play it much these days.
2 ...e6 3. Nb1c3 f5. Oh yes! When I saw this move, I remember thinking to myself that black had already lost.
4. c5
Like I said, I really don't remember what exactly I was thinking during this game. But then, I used to make moves without any reason in particular. I suspect this is likely to be one of such moves.
4 ...g6 5. Ng1f3 Ng8f6 6. Bc1f4 Bc8d7 7. e3 Nf6e4 8. Nc3xe4 dxe4 9. Nf3e5
Taking the outpost on e5
9 ...Nb8a6 10. Bf1xa6
Developing, destroying the black pawn structure on the queen's side, and getting ready to castle. I remember that one very well.
10 ...bxa6 11. O-O Ra8b8 12. g4
Intending to make room for my queen to come over to the king's side.
12 ...fxg4 13. Qd1xg4 h5 If there was such a thing in chess anontation, I would give this move ????
14. Qg4xg6+ Ke8e7 15. Bf4g5# 1-0
Not that it's a game I'm really proud of or happy to share. But I still won.
